Right across the campsite is Petting Zoo Ommen. The Petting Zoo gives children and adults the opportunity to interact with animals. It's the perfect spot for children that for one reason or another cannot keep pets at home to become acquainted with animals (naturally, with supervision).

It is wonderful to explore the area by bike during your holiday, but usually you have so much to lug around. Because the town of Ommen is also within walking distance, you don't really need your bike for that. How wonderful it is that you can simply rent a good bike at the Koeksebelt. You can still go out when the weather is nice. You can rent a bike from 13.50 euros per day. So no lugging your own bikes around!
